The Avengers – Chris Evans, Samuel Jackson, Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Tom Hiddleston

Starting in 2008, Marvel started a ball rolling to create what came out last Friday.  Sure we’ve gone through another Hulk actor and had to sit through a ton of credits to put together all the pieces but let me tell you what…it was worth it.  All the movies building up to this, Captain America, Thor, Iron Man and Hulk are in this, except Mark Ruffalo is Banner instead of Ed Norton.  Also Scarlett Johansson who was Black Widow in Iron Man 2 and Jeremy Renner who was Hawkeye in Thor are all in it too.  With all that being said, and if you havent seen some of these movies you will get spoiled but guess what, i dont care.  Loki has found a way back to the Earth and his main goal is to find the tesseract, or as some of us call it in the comicbook world, the cosmic cube.  You also find out that Loki has teamed up with a group of aliens known as the Chitauri who promise him if he gets his hands on the tesseract they will give him their army.  Fury tries to recruit all the superheroes to fight against Loki.  Since the tesseract puts out a gamma signal, Banner is recruited and since S.H.I.E.L.D. has Steve Rogers aka Captain America he’s already in.  Agent Coulson goes and recruits Stark and after the team gets their hands on Loki, Thor shows up.  You can imagine that getting a group together like this, there might be some clash of egos and with the help of Loki putting them together against each other makes then even more difficult.  I dont want to ruin anything for anyone so i’m gonna leave you with this and get to what i thought.  Loki does get away and they team goes after him and his army that he unleashes on NYC and soon, the world.  This movie was AMAZING! and AWESOME!  Ruffalo did a great job as the Hulk and you do get to see a little more of Hawkeye and Black Widow.  I loved the banter between the characters, like you would see in the comics.  Joss did a great job at directing this movie.  There were 2 scenes that i literally laughed out loud at and both had to do with Hulk.  I did miss a couple of things said because of people cheering or laughing so i will be checking this out AGAIN!  I did put this on facebook but just in case, sit through ALL the credits, there are 2 scenes.  Overall, see this movie and if you get a chance on seeing this in 2D see it, 3D isnt necessary.

10 outta 10 wahoo’s
